Following up on the last post, we had to write about this wonderful time of year. Due to our varied cultural backgrounds, a week such as this is music to our ears. Amazing food, cheap prices, and an almost overwhelming amount of choices, it seems there is no downside. We have included some more necessary information below.
"Restaurant Week is intended as an opportunity for diners to try celebrated DC restaurants they can’t normally afford — while filling tables during a slow time of year for restaurateurs, of course. But many restaurants draft special menus for the occasion, serving dishes that may not appear on the menu at any other time of the year. This year’s winter Restaurant Week takes place January 19-25, when three-course lunches will be offered for $20.15 and dinners for $35.15." [Zagat]
