A few weeks ago, I found myself in downtown Richmond on a Friday. It just so happened to be the Issue 5 Launch Party for Need Supply's Human Being Journal at the Sediment Gallery on East Grace Street. If you are not familiar, Human Being Journal is Need Supply's biannual print magazine, intended to be their unique take on the creative world that surrounds the store, the merchandise they carry and the culture of the brands they interact with. The folks at Need Supply always seem to do the right thing in terms of branding, events, and merchandise. When you shop at the store, engage with the employees or attend one of their events, it is very easy to notice that they always keep it a notch above the competition. As you all may know, we don't visit Richmond as frequently as we used to, but the quality of these events curated by Need Supply just seems to put you into a great space creatively. You never know who you may cross paths with, the owner of the gallery or possibly even the Creative Director of Need Supply himself. If you have not been to any of their events yet, I strongly suggest starting soon.
