This summer, DC's beloved son, Wizzol plans to hit the road for the Rose Fashion Tour. Taking inspiration from his young daughter and the "Rose That Grew From the Concrete" he intends to take his tour, the first of its kind, to the major markets of DC, Atlanta, LA and New York. The main purpose behind this movement is to uplift and expose the youth to the creative culture. Each stop of the tour will be a mixture of DC and a taste of the chosen city.
If you are not already familiar with Wizzol's body of work, Wizzol X has worked with brands such as Maybach Music Group, Reebok and Adidas. He has artwork featured in publications such as XXL and Complex mag. For example a few are: Rockie Fresh “God is Great” Cover, Meek Mills “Levels” Cover and the “Self Made Volume 3” cover. His Rose Fashion Show Series packed out the Living Social facilities in its first year and have included talented guests such as Flex Kartel and Lyquin in years past.
In this third edition of the Rose Fashion Show will be held this Saturday, June 27, at in THEARC in Southeast DC, he looks to involve yet another faction of his talented peers. He will be partnering with Tumaini DC, a local nonprofit organization built to empower "DC area youth and their families by providing support services to ensure that they can reach their full potential and contribute positively to society." This invaluable alliance will bring to light to what the youngsters can achieve by hard work and dedication as two of the event's main organizers are from their own neighborhood.
Along with premiering pieces from his Irror line with Adidas, he will also be involving local brands such as RZN, Rich Doll, By Brittany, Leader of The Free, Kenzie Carsel, Fortune and Prep & Prissy. As per usual with his shows, there will also be musical acts which include GTown Wayne, Flex Kartel, Diego Boss and Lyquin.
