Our good friend, local blogger and brand consultant Tony Thrifts has joined forces with DMV-based retailer Sports Zone Elite for a small t-shirt collaboration entitled “Best of Both Cities”. As he pays homage to New York and DC for their influence over his life creatively, the shirts illustrates some of the elements from both cities that he holds close. The “Big Brooklyn” tee shows his respect to the late Notorious BIG with the Coogi-inspired design. The “DC Eats Its Young” tee was inspired by the popular HBO Series “How To Make It in America” and features a unique depiction of the metro doors that those who are familiar with mass-transit travel in the DMV will recognize along with the DC Capital skyline made to resemble the mouth of a monster. The brilliant execution of these simply-designed tees make these a "must-have" buy for anybody familiar with either city. Both tees are now available exclusively at all Sports Zone Elite locations and online while supplies last. Well done, Tony Thrifts!
