Super Tuesday in the Election Primaires just passed and I have to be honest, I've been struggling to keep up. Not because I can't keep up with the information, I'm just tired and bored with the whole thing. There's so many debates, 15 Republican ones because a Democrat is in power. I don't really watch TV so I guess I'll catch the "Sportscenter" version on CNN or some other channel. You really have to between the lines and listen to what they're not saying with a mic in their hands. Eventhough he has good intentions, Bernie seems too ambitious, Hilary switches sides so much that it's hard to tell what's truthful. The GOP seems to be so out of touch, it's like they're on another planet. No one candidate on EITHER side really inspires me to do anything. At this point in the game, it feels like I'm going through the motions or just voting to exercise my right to do so. I can not sit quiet and not do anything, that is not an option either. I guess that could be why I appreciate this VICE piece with Bun B. To the common folk, he is a rapper, but in real life, he is an artist with a voice. An activist and active lecturer at Rice University, he takes his point-of-view and shares the knowledge rather than sit idle. He carefully navigates each setting and engages with the supporters of each candidate in a way we don't even see on tv. Let the media tell it, every Trump rally is a brawl and Ted Cruz is a preacher without a pulpit. But anyways, take some time out your day, watch this report, educate yourself on the candidates and their platforms and make a choice for yourself.
