Manhattan artist Skizzy Mars is ramping up for his upcoming tour to promote his debut album Alone Together. In the midst of tour preparation, Skiz decided to share some new sounds. Having already shared three singles off of the project, Mars gifts his fans with some non-album material in 'Magic'.
Recruiting the vivacious Phoebe Ryan, whose debut single 'Mine' turned the heads of some major artists last year, Skizzy's bravado takes a backseat to introspection of the life he has led in his 22 years. Honest emotions flow through the verses, as Myles Mills aka Skizzy Mars questions almost everything including his sanity, and are set free in Ryan's hook.
"We know its bad for us, but we like it"
Atlantic Records' artist and Penthouse Music's own Michael Keenan delivers another driving performance. Fresh off a Billboard top 20 placement, Kennan's subtle percussion and a crying guitar blend perfectly for an unusual perspective coming from a "rapper".
Alone Together drops March 11th and is available for pre-order on iTunes. Be on the lookout for "Alone Together The Tour" coming to a city near you.
